A rice mill has a lot to track. You buy paddy (rice still in its husk) from many sellers. You mill it in batches, store the rice, and send it out to buyers.
Money moves at every step. You must keep your party ledgers (the accounts for each buyer and seller) up to date. In paper books, this is slow, and mistakes are easy to make.
